Taboo In Review - Merry XXXMas

The holidays are here and Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society shared their festive feelings at the Taboo Revue Variety Burlesque show at the WISE Hall December 9th.

Evil Bastard and Connie Lingus were our very dynamic hosts for the evening. The chemistry between the two of them were VERY obvious.

Coco Cinders, Violet Femme, April O’Peel, Whatsername, Pocket Venus and myself were all dreaming of a white Christmas so we brought the snow to the show with our darling snowflake fan dance.

Seeing red can be a very good thing especially when its draped on a gorgeous, leggy blonde. Ava Lure is a force to be reckoned with when she is on stage!

The prize for prettiest dresses in a group number would easily be awarded to this one! Melody Mangler, Dame Booty Dench and Voodoo Pixie worked those gowns surprising the crowd with reveal after reveal.

Sex Luthor tells us a story of a cowboy who loves another cowboy... or is it cowlady... Ugh cowlady is a horrible name! What is then? Cowwoman? Cowfemale? I can now see why he would stick to the cowboys!

April O’Peel recreated the Chicken Dance in (my opinion) one of her most dynamic numbers to date. A balance between wacky and elegant this number is entertaining from start to finish!

I don’t know if I have EVER featured our beautiful Stage Kittens. These dedicated girls work it all night long setting up and cleaning up the stage for each and every performer in the show. Any burlesque show would be in disarray without them Thank you ladies!!! We love you!!!

You know how hard it is to work hard and look gorgeous at the same time? Flash L’Fox doesn’t!

Well Sweetpea Macgee and Roger More achieved a first for our host, Evil Bastard (and believe me thats not easy! He’s not called “Everybody’s Favourite Ex-Boyfriend” for nothing!) performing a choose-your-own-ending burletta. She let the audience take direction on how her solo would end. Sex or Kill? What would you choose?

Inspired by the You-Tube phenomenon, Double Rainbow, Bobbie Whiskey brings that double freakin rainbow to life. Shout out to Sex Luthor who’s bra removal has greatly improved!

When the men were away at war, women worked grueling hours at laborious jobs. But you know how it goes, when you work hard, you play hard!

Hey, Mr. Kringle! These ladies delighted the crowd at the open of the second act of the Taboo Revue... Pretty sure Santa sled down their chimney after seeing this!!!

No strangers to the naughty list, Velvet Von Doff on guitar and Kitty Kitty Bang Bang on lead vocals sang some dirty, dirty Christmas Carols to the crowd. Do NOT eat the chocolate-dipped candy cane!!!

Ballerina princess, Whatsername brought a little bit of culture to the Taboo Revue... well for a little-while anyways!

Six hotties wearing nothing but red underwear, sparkly vests, fedoras and pins vs. Voodoo Pixie wearing balloons... Where are you placing your bets?

Sex Luthor challenged April O’Peel to give stripping a try and she not only did she accept she was presented with a boner! Congratulations O’Peel!

We welcome back our beloved mega mother of Screaming Chicken, Melody Mangler from her glorious return from the Burlesque Ball in Australia! She seduced the crowd with one of her most tempting numbers yet. I can see why Eve wanted a bite of that fruit!

We reached to the end of the show where the cast of Screaming Chicken presents the wonderful world of winter through a dance of the snowflakes. That is until those darn kids take the fate of those frosty beauties and make snowmen out of them!
